Part 3: Writing
Welcome to our virtual tour through Cambridge. We will start at the Bus Station in Drummer Street. Across the street there is a very small nice restaurant, which sells the best burgers in town. Now we are walking down the Hobson Street and the big yellow building you see in front of us is the Post-Office. It was destroyed during the second World War, which meant that they could not send letters to our troops in France. Do you see the huge white building? This is the Whipple Museum, our history of science museum. It is open from Monday to Friday from 12:30 to 4:30 pm. Everybody should go and see it, because it’s fantastic. We will Continue our tour at Corpus Christi College, which is the oldest building, because all other old buildings were bombed, but luckily for us no bomb hit the college. It has a nice court in the middle, which most students use to learn. We will make the next stop at the market. There you can buy vegetables, although the tomatoes are not as good as they might look. Now do you see the white building with the many windows? It’s another college, called Trinity College, which was founded in 1546, It’s really famous and students from all over the world study here. Now we got to the newest building in the city: the Methodist university. It has the best and latest equipment in town. The next attraction I will show you the Grafton Shopping Centre, which has every thing you need. Now we will walk back the bus station and I hope you have enjoyed this tour.
